Some of the material was added based on lessons learned from my expert witness assignments which now include 13 civil and criminal real estate cases in both state and federal court.  Reviewing several thousand pages of depositions, thousands of pages of opposing councils’ legal arguments and hundreds of pages of judge’s decisions in Alaska real estate cases, it became clear that certain mistakes occur frequently and lead to unexpected and harsh consequences.
